This 200‑Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Jaya Yoga is a transformational, heart‑centered program designed for students who want to go deeper - whether your path leads to teaching or simply to a richer, more embodied relationship with yoga. You’ll gain practical teaching skills, a strong foundation in yoga philosophy and anatomy, and the confidence to trust your voice, all within a supportive, small‑group environment.

This program is designed for you if you:
• Have a consistent yoga practice (at least one year) and feel ready to go deeper
• Are ready to refine and deepen your existing practice beyond weekly classes
• Feel curious about yoga philosophy, anatomy, breath, and the subtle body
• Value community, mentorship, and personal growth within a supportive environment

What You’ll Learn

Learn how to break down postures, transitions, and class structure to create safe, accessible, and meaningful classes for all levels.

Study anatomy with an emphasis on injury prevention, accessibility, and understanding why we move the way we do.

Explore the roots of yoga, including the Yoga Sutras, ethical principles, and yogic lifestyle and learn how to integrate them into modern practice.

Practice pranayama, meditation, chakras, and energetic awareness to deepen both personal practice and teaching.

Develop confident cueing, voice, pacing, and the ability to hold space for students.

Teach often in a supportive environment and receive constructive, encouraging feedback.

Certification
Graduates of this program are eligible to register as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with Yoga Alliance upon successful completion of all requirements.
